Development Group, Inc. – Insight SMS Opt-In Flow
Insight is an internal DGI application available only to authorized employees.
Because Insight is behind login, this page describes the SMS opt-in process used inside the application.
Step 1: Employee logs into Insight
An authorized employee logs into the Insight application using their assigned credentials.
Step 2: Employee opens notification settings
The employee opens their Insight notification settings page.
Step 3: Employee enters a mobile phone number
The employee enters the mobile phone number where they want to receive Insight SMS notifications.
Step 4: Employee provides SMS consent
The employee checks an unchecked optional consent box before enabling SMS notifications.
The consent language shown in Insight is:
By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring SMS notifications from Development Group, Inc. / Insight about my Insight account and application activity. Message frequency varies, typically fewer than 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. SMS notifications are optional and are not required to use Insight. See our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice.

Step 5: Employee clicks Enable SMS
After entering a mobile phone number and providing consent, the employee clicks Enable SMS.
Step 6: Insight sends a confirmation SMS
Insight sends an SMS confirmation message to the employee’s mobile phone number.
Step 7: Employee confirms the phone number
The employee confirms ownership of the mobile phone number before Insight SMS notifications are enabled.
Opt-out and help
Employees may opt out of Insight SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any Insight SMS message.
Employees may reply HELP to any Insight SMS message for assistance or contact insight-support@development-group.net.
